About the Role
About the Role : The Account Director is a vital part of the Creative Team. This person has an intimate understanding of full funnel advertising workings, a heart for people, a love of financial management, and an eye for opportunity. Your main charge is to build a scalable Account Management department that services our Client business needs to the highest quality, while ensuring team growth and development, against the Creative Department Vision.
Responsibilities
Advanced communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly
Excellent capabilities to execute upsell and cross‑sell strategies to unlock business opportunities
Player‑coach skill set to manage your team positively and efficiently, provide support, motivate and challenge the team to create smart and inventive creative work
Provide challenging assignments and ongoing constructive feedback to direct reports
Strong strategic acumen and ability to handle and oversee recurring reporting and briefing needs
Project Management mindset and ability to work and manage projects in Asana in coordination with other internal stakeholders
Establish and track clear KPIs for each team member
Strong decision maker, business and ROI oriented
Experience leading performance‑minded accounts, optimizing to key metrics and opportunities
Strong financial acumen to balance client portfolios, scopes, and team allocations
Knows how to distribute the right team talent to task to get the highest value output
Reconciles each month invoicing for clients to ensure payments and billing are above board
Lead new business opportunities through internal process: qualifying opportunities, lead/oversee pitch process, and determine effective and strategic pitch‑winning deliverables (RFP or pitch deck)
Support sales team to unlock key opportunities for new and existing clients by leading Creative Pitch approach
In conjunction with Head of Accounts, reviews the Creative Department P2R to inform staffing, scoping, and overall services to client
Requirements
7+ years in an agency or related environment (marketing, brand team, etc.)
Experience in full 360 integrated creative work, including but not limited to digital, social, TV, OOH, and media campaigns
Advanced communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Strong financial acumen to balance client portfolios, scopes, and team allocations
Passionate interest in growing clients’ businesses as a trusted business partner
Experience in Asana, Monday, or other project management software a plus
High creative output standards, with an expectation that the full team will be passionate, focused, and committed to creating work that is best‑in‑class and effective
