Local Videographer + Editor (Content Capture & Creative Production)

Role Type: Part-Time (30 hrs/week)

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Location: Local to NYC / Long Island (In-person filming required)

Lucky Girl Social is an impact-driven, results-backed coaching company helping female Freelancers & Agency Owners scale to multi–six figures with clarity, precision, and ease. We’re known for our high-touch client experience, powerful content, and bold, feminine brand identity.

We’re hiring a Local Videographer + Editor who can capture Lucy’s life, leadership, expertise, and energy and turn it into high-quality, high-converting video content for all platforms.

This is not a corporate videography role.

This is a creative, fast-paced, social-first role for someone who understands storytelling, brand, and personality-driven content through video.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for capturing Lucy’s content in-person each week AND editing everything into a polished, on-brand final product.

You’ll film BTS, lifestyle content, CEO moments, coaching clips, event footage, and educational content — then turn it into:

  • TikToks & Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Long-form videos
  • Podcast clips
  • Ad creatives
  • Brand storytelling pieces

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Can follow a CEO with a camera and catch the magic moments
  • Understands short-form video trends
  • Loves editing and can bring brand personality through pacing, music, and graphics
  • Thrives in a creative, entrepreneurial environment

Key Responsibilities

Weekly In-Person Filming (1 Days/Week)

Capture high-quality footage of Lucy & Team in:

  • Behind-the-scenes daily moments
  • Walk-and-talk clips
  • Coaching and sales calls (highlight clips)
  • Lifestyle & brand-forward content
  • Podcast/teaching segments
  • Events, retreats, and workshops
  • Interviews and testimonials
  • Aesthetic B-roll around home, office, travel
  • Content days for batching videos

This role requires someone who can proactively pull content out of real life — not just wait for direction.

Video Editing & Creative Production

Turn all captured footage into polished, high-converting content:

  • TikTok / IG Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Long-form videos
  • YouTube content
  • Podcast visual clips
  • Hot seat coaching clips
  • VSLs (video sales letters)
  • Brand storytelling videos
  • Event recap videos
  • Ad creatives
  • Memes and trend-based content
  • Graphic overlays & template-based designs

Editing must follow:

  • brand voice
  • pacing style
  • aesthetic guidelines
  • viral format best practices

Content Library Management

  • Organize footage weekly
  • Tag content by theme, pillar, and topic
  • Maintain a searchable raw footage library
  • Deliver content to the Marketing Manager on a consistent schedule
  • Keep all files stored and backed up
  • Maintain naming conventions and content database

This ensures nothing gets lost and the marketing team always knows where to pull from.

Creative Collaboration

  • Brainstorm content ideas with the Marketing Manager
  • Collaborate on story arcs, shoot lists, and angles
  • Contribute creative perspectives on lighting, locations, and concepts
  • Offer suggestions for improving video quality, pacing, and brand aesthetic
  • Support launches with special video assets
  • Stay up to date on current social trends and audio styles

You are an essential creative partner in bringing Lucy’s brand to life.

Requirements

  • MUST be local to NYC / Long Island
  • 5+ years experience filming & editing video content
  • Strong portfolio of short-form, social-first videos
  • Deep understanding of TikTok / Reels / Shorts formats
  • Skilled in creative trends, transitions, pacing, and storytelling
  • Proficient with editing tools (CapCut Pro, Final Cut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Experience shooting on DSLR/mirrorless cameras + iPhone
  • Ability to capture high-quality audio + lighting
  • Detail-oriented with fast turnaround times
  • Ability to batch record + batch editHighly organized with a strong content library process
  • Comfortable working with entrepreneurs / personal brands

Compensation

$4,000/month retainer

(Approximately 30hours/week)

Performance Bonuses for quality, turnaround, and consistency.

As the brand scales, this role can evolve into:
