Primary Purpose
The Paid Social Media Buyer is responsible for developing, executing, and reporting on paid social media campaigns on platforms including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube to promote and drive traffic, products, and services. The role helps the digital marketing team achieve marketing goals by reaching KPIs vital to each social channel and delivering effective campaigns at efficient prices.
Work Schedule
Flexible/hybrid schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Core office locations include Chicago, IL; Quincy, MA; Carlisle, PA; and Hyattsville, MD.
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement media strategies for the company's advertising assets across social media platforms.
- Effectively establish bid price ceilings to keep pricing down while maximizing reach potential.
- Use Ahold Delhaize USA first‑party data to target audience lists within each social platform.
- Build and manage relationships with advertisers and agencies to deliver effective media campaigns.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as sales, marketing, analytics, and product to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall business goals.
- Help increase brand awareness by running targeted advertising campaigns to consumers who have expressed interest in similar products and who live in similar geographic areas.
- Meet regularly with partners (via video conference and in person as needed) to strengthen relationships.
- Provide weekly insights and optimizations to key departments and partners invested in campaign delivery.
Qualifications
- Business Manager and Ad Account familiarity for Meta, Pinterest, and Google DV360.
- Understanding of image, video, carousel, co‑branding ads and best practices for creating and targeting effective social advertisements.
- Ability to track and measure social campaign performance in real time and identify areas of improvement.
- Knowledge of digital marketing team KPIs and goals to deliver targeted media efficiently.
- Up‑to‑date on the latest trends, research, and techniques across all social media platforms and digital ad serving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent.
- Ability to plan, execute, measure, and report on multiple campaigns to multiple partners per day.
- Ability to work effectively with partners at home and in office whenever needed.
Salary Range
ME/NC/PA/SC: $75,040 - $112,560
IL/MA/MD/NY: $86,320 - $129,480
