Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

Develop, plan, and execute daily social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms

Write platform-specific, compelling social copy that reflects the Good Housekeeping voice and drives engagement

Manage the publishing schedule and ensure timely promotion of editorial, video, and commerce initiatives

Pitch and create original social-first content, including short-form video, Stories, and Reels

Monitor social trends and provide timely insights and content opportunities to the editorial team

Track performance metrics to help inform content strategy and audience development

Engage with the Good Housekeeping community across platforms, ensuring tone, style, and standards are consistently upheld

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

4+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or a related field

Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for compelling, on-brand visuals

Proven experience creating short-form video for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels

Proficiency with social media analytics tools and a deep understanding of platform best practices

Collaborative mindset, detail-oriented approach, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced media environment

Hybrid work schedule — this role is based in New York City and requires 4 days per week in the office

The base salary for this role is between $67,000 - $77,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
