Base Pay Range

$97,000.00/hr - $125,000.00/hr

Lead UI/UX Developer

UNCOMN is seeking a Lead UI/UX Developer to:

  • Develop and implement new user interfaces and UX solutions for the user community, including web applications, UI pages, and system interfaces.
  • Apply TypeScript, Angular, and SnapUI Framework expertise to modernize interfaces and ensure a consistent, user‑centric experience across applications/systems.
  • Analyze system and functional requirements, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate operational needs into actionable front‑end solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and backlog refinement, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality UI/UX components.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and testers to maintain code quality, demonstrate solutions, and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Support enhancement capabilities to meet operational and technical requirements, preparing user‑facing documentation, business cases, or workflow analyses as needed.
  • Coordinate functional and regression testing for UI/UX components, providing artifacts and documentation for GAT and UAT events.
  • Contribute to front‑end technical documentation, including UI specifications, user manuals, and support guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
  • Ensure all changes comply with client and industry configuration management processes and cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front‑end development using TypeScript and Angular, with a strong understanding of DoD (SDDC preferred) processes and workflow requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
  • Must be willing to obtain relevant certifications as required by future client or contract needs.
