Our award‑winning energy marketing team is growing and in search of a dynamic and detail‑oriented Marketing Coordinator who is excited to learn and build a long‑term career.
Job Details Entry‑level, on‑call position starting January 2026. Remote but occasional meetings in the Atlanta area. 20 hours per week (may vary). Pay $23 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings.
Maintain an inventory and directory of marketing materials and coordinate new material creation.
Ship marketing materials to staff across the utility service territory.
Manage costs within event budgets.
Communicate with program, account, and creative teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate outsourced tasks to external vendors, such as printing companies and event locations.
Work with procurement to get vendor contracts signed and ensure timely payment.
Develop timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Track event performance and compile post‑event reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Completed at least 60 college‑level course credit hours.
Degree focus in Marketing, Communications, Business, or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in energy efficiency, utility, or public sector programs.
Experience working in an advertising agency and/or on a marketing account.
Experience working in a multi‑tasking environment.
Experience working with remote teams and coordinating logistics across geographies.
Comfort with light physical tasks (e.g., lifting boxes of materials for events).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Microsoft Customer Journey and Insights, or similar).
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
Creative thinker with a positive attitude who enjoys challenges and finding solutions.
Ability to work independently, seek help as needed, and contribute to team and company culture.
Working knowledge of computers and online tools, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
