Location: Larchmont, NY

Base pay range: $25.00/hr – $40.00/hr

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Art Teachers for our adult students for weekdays and Saturdays at the Larchmont site.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching undergraduate and beginner adult art students in a guided project class where the curriculum is provided, or an open studio format where students direct their own work.
• Delivering our proprietary curriculum to adults, following pre‑written lesson plans and adhering to specific learning goals and timelines.
• Using a variety of studio art mediums and techniques.
• Providing a cohesive, student‑centric learning environment.

Qualifications / Requirements

• 10+ years of fine‑art teaching experience.
• MFA or Master’s in Art Education.
• Knowledge of a wide range of studio art mediums and techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A passion for One River School’s mission.
• Must live within easy commutable distance from the Larchmont location.
