Network Engineer (100% Remote-Advanced Routing/Network Automation (Python) Network Engineer- 100% Remote- Advanced Routing/Network Automation (Python)
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their team. This engineer will have a strong routing background as well as some hands-on network automation and scripting experience. They will help to support large scale networks across an enterprise organization.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and configuring routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
Utilizing IP addressing and how this is set up across multiple networks
Using route reflectors
Utilizing Python for network automation and process automation
Using virtualized network infrastructure across multiple platforms like Cisco OS and Juniper

Strong routing protocol knowledge and experience- configuring BGP, OSPF, etc.
Experience using Python or another scripting language for network automation
Strong IP addressing, route reflector, and network variable experience
Significant network troubleshooting background across large scale networks
