Connexus Hub is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to lead sustainment of the Cyber Infrastructure Network (CIN). This role provides expert-level engineering support for LAN/WAN architecture, DISA STIG compliance, and QoS optimization to ensure high-availability connectivity.
Responsibilities Lead configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Cisco/Extreme switches, routers, and firewalls.
Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, IAVMs, and Army cybersecurity policies.
Conduct quarterly capacity analyses and implement QoS to prioritize instructional/test traffic.
Support redundant/failover architecture for maximum uptime.
Mentor junior network technicians and RSS field engineers.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
10+ years network engineering experience supporting DoD environments.
Extreme Networks Certified Specialist or Engineer certification.
CCNP or equivalent highly preferred.
Proven record of sustaining 99.95% network uptime across enterprise-scale networks.
Clearance: Secret.
