What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota established by sales management

Utilize a disciplined approach to uncover and meet customer needs

Maintain a territory call cycle on new accounts to drive sales growth

Develop new business within the assigned geographic territory

Prepare account business plans and execute effective call cycle plans to grow territory business

What is Required (Qualifications):

Technical degree, preferably a PhD in Physics, with a focus on photonics/optics

Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in B2B sales in the engineered product space

Proven experience working with OEMs to create custom solutions

Ability to leverage sales data to influence internal stakeholders regarding customer needs

Exceptional communication and time management skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong technical proficiency with Novanta products and competitive offerings

Background in optical technology and related fields
