Base pay range $89,250.00/yr - $120,750.00/yr
Responsibilities Kforce's client, a growing CPA/Accounting services firm based in the New York metropolitan area, is expanding nationwide. Due to recent growth, the firm is seeking their first Business Development Associate. This role will report to the COO and offers a fully remote work model. Summary: The Business Development Associate will play a key role in supporting the firm's growth initiatives by identifying new client opportunities, assisting in strategic outreach, and nurturing relationships with prospects. This position is ideal for candidates eager to learn the fundamentals of business development within an Accounting Firm environment. This role offers a path to more senior business development duties or client relationship management roles within the firm.
Conduct research to identify potential clients and industry trends relevant to accounting and related financial services
Assist in developing and executing outreach strategies, including email campaigns, networking events, and social media engagement
Maintain and update CRM systems with lead and client information
Support senior leaders in preparing proposals, presentations, and pitch materials
Track and report on business development metrics and pipeline progress
Participate in client meetings and follow-ups to ensure engagement and relationship-building
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field
2+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a CPA firm or similar business
Experience with proposal writing or client onboarding processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, etc.)
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, professional environment
This pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
