We are looking for a Key Account Sales Manager with experience with large distribution companies. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term, strategic relationships with a select portfolio of high-value industrial clients.

This role focuses on driving profitable sales growth within these accounts and serving as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of industrial sales and complex client management. This position is based in our Kansas City offices.

What’s the Job?

Develop and execute key account strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and product penetration across large industrial customers

Manage product assortment and negotiation of favorable terms and pricing

Responsible for profitable sales growth that meets or exceeds company expectations

Create annual account plans, including sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and growth targets

Track and report sales and goal progress to management along with industry and market specific trends and feedback

Travel (>20% in normal conditions) to support business objectives

Guide, support and work in concert with BVA Inside Sales as well as other departments

Manage and report expenses within company guidelines

Maximize brand demand for BVA Hydraulics

Support additional projects and company interests as needed

What’s Needed?

Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales

Proven experience in key account management, complex sales, and negotiation

Excellent written and oral communication/presentation abilities

Demonstration of intellect, resourcefulness, drive, and sales acumen

Positive attitude and flexibility to change as required by the environment

Comfort with Microsoft Office

Ability to learn and effectively communicate technical information

Demonstrated ability to set and exceed goals, self-manage and prioritize workload

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
