Private House Manager / Housekeeper – Job Description- Must SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented House Manager / Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations, organization, and cleanliness of a private residence. This role combines hands-on housekeeping with light household management to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Cleaning
Maintain overall cleanliness of the home (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas)
Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all surfaces on a consistent schedule
Deep clean areas as needed (appliances, baseboards, windows, etc.)
Make beds and maintain linens (launder, fold, organize)
Household Management
Manage household supplies and restock as needed (cleaning products, paper goods, etc.)
Oversee organization of closets, pantry, and storage areas
Coordinate with vendors or service providers (repairs, maintenance, deliveries)
Keep a running list of household needs and proactively address them
Laundry & Care
Handle all laundry including washing, folding, and organizing
Care for specialty items when needed (delicates, bedding, etc.)
Daily Operations
Empty trash and maintain outdoor areas (light sweeping, tidying)
Ensure kitchen is reset daily (dishes, counters, appliances cleaned)
Assist with basic meal prep if requested (optional depending on role)
Pet Care (As Needed)
Provide care for household dogs when owners are out of town
Responsibilities may include feeding, walking, administering basic care, and companionship
Must be comfortable staying overnight at the residence when required
Ensure pets maintain their regular routines and are well cared for in the owners’ absence
Additional Duties (as needed)
Prepare home for guests or events
Run occasional errands (groceries, dry cleaning, etc.)
Light organization projects and seasonal clean-outs
Qualifications
Prior experience in housekeeping or household management preferred
Comfortable caring for dogs and staying overnight when needed
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
Reliable transportation (if errands are required)
Schedule
Hours vary depending on household needs
Flexible schedule required
Occasional overnight stays required when owners are out of town
Compensation
