What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive incremental revenue
Manage territory activities including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer relationship building
Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with sales in the educational sector or related fields
Familiarity with market dynamics and competitive landscape in educational publishing
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly
Experience utilizing telecommuting software such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams
