Schedule: Full Time 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday

Job Summary Roaming Property Managers support our regional property management staff by assisting FWM communities across the region. They market and lease apartments, manage invoices, address resident concerns, oversee property staff, and ensure compliance with Low Income Housing Tax Credit regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diligently ensures all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to.
Collects and deposits rent within 24 hours of collection, notifying residents of delinquent rent.
Provides outstanding service to residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests in a timely manner.
Maintains and builds application waiting list.
Conducts initial lease process with certification and annual re‑certification for affordable housing, state agency, and government agency programs.
Passes INSPIRE, State, and Government Agency inspections and maintains company standards.
Ensures vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and markets units diligently until occupied.
Processes applications for move‑in/transfer and forwards to Compliance for approval.
Supervises property staff directly reporting to the property manager, including maintenance and housekeeping staff, inspecting unit turns, preventive maintenance, work order completion, and quarterly housekeeping inspections.
Inspects and supervises the work of outside vendors.
Walks the property on a daily basis.
Organizes community activities on a regular basis according to the requirements of the property's individual management agreement and lease.
Is available on call for after‑hours emergencies and other business needs.
Travels to regional and home office training and conferences as required.
Travels for work as required on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in affordable housing property management Experience with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program
Skills & Competencies:
Strong customer service skills Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with learning new software
