CNC Mill Machinist
PeopleShare is partnered with a well established company on their search for a CNC Mill Machinist. Schedule: Monday -Friday 6am-2:30pm Pay Rate: $25-30/hr flexible DOE Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Location: Allentown, PA Key Responsibilities
Set up CNC milling machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, loading materials, and inputting program codes per engineering drawings and specifications. Operate CNC milling machines, monitor production, and perform in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and tolerances. Conduct routine maintenance, including tool changes, lubrication, and cleaning, to maintain optimal machine performance. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality and conformance. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols, SOPs, and best practices for a safe work environment. Document production and quality data for reporting and assurance purposes. Experience with castings preferred. Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC Mills, including setup, tooling, and programming (preferred). Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments for inspection and quality control. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in manufacturing. Basic understanding of CNC machine maintenance and minor repairs. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities. Physical ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment and perform job-related tasks.
