Cnc Milling Machinist - 2nd Shift
Do you have experience manufacturing precision surgical instruments? Are you motivated and detail-oriented? Masis Staffing is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist to work in Billerica, MA area. This is a 2nd shift full-time position Monday - Friday 2:45PM -10:45PM with 2-30 min - paid breaks. This client also has opportunities for 1st shift CNC Milling Machinist should we come across a qualified candidate with this schedule preference. Responsibilities of a CNC Milling Machinist: Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Verify conformance of parts using appropriate measuring tools and inspection methods. Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain part quality and efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality standards. Knowledge and Experience of a CNC Milling Machinist: Minimum 5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC equipment. Experience with INTEGREX, MAZAK, and HURCO machines is strongly preferred. Programming experience is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Physical Requirements of a CNC Milling Machinist: Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, visual comparators). Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment. Experience working in an ISO-certified environment is preferred. Compensation of a CNC Milling Machinist: $30 - $34/hr Based on Experience
