We are seeking a skilled Mill CNC Machine Set-Up Operator (1st or 2nd shift) to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet tight tolerances and industry standards. We take pride in delivering high-quality, mission-critical parts for the aerospace and defense industries. Our team is committed to excellence, innovation, and precision engineering. Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC milling machines, including tooling, fixtures, and workpiece alignment. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Load and unload materials while ensuring proper machine calibration. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.). Adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and feeds/speeds to optimize performance. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and perform inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc. For incoming inspection, in-process validation and final inspection as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years of CNC mill set-up experience with 3 & 4 Axis Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of G-code, CNC controls, and machining best practices. Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret GD&T and engineering drawings. Inspection Skills: Proficiency in using measuring instruments to verify part dimensions. Experience: CNC milling machine operator: 1 year (Preferred) CNC set up machinist: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time
