Order Picker

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
• Utilize hand-held scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as required, following safety guidelines.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the order fulfillment and logistics process.
• Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during picking.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret order forms and item locations.
• Familiarity with scanning equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
