Tavant is seeking a seasoned and ambitious Regional Sales Director to spearhead our sales efforts in delivering cutting‑edge Generative AI, AI/ML, Data Engineering, Analytics solutions, and hyperscaler/cloud transformation deals. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, forming strategic partnerships, and leading a high‑performing sales team across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution : Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies to drive growth and meet or exceed sales targets. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis : Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in AI, ML, and cloud computing.
  • Technology Acumen : Demonstrate a passion for technology, actively learning about industry trends. Communicate effectively with technical prospects and clients, confidently discussing solutions, architecture, and delivering presentations/demos.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product development, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of sales plans.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Working knowledge of SalesForce is desired.
  • Travel and Networking : Participate actively in conferences and industry events. Extensive travel may be required to meet with clients and prospects across the region.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion : Generate a target number of qualified leads and follow up to win them over. Develop and win business with large enterprise clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience : 8-10 years of experience in sales and client‑facing roles, preferably in AI/ML, Data Engineering, Analytics, or related services.
  • Skills

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience working with CRM and sales automation tools.
    • Ability to develop innovative ideas to suit the needs of a fast‑growing business.

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Math, or Statistics.
