Roadshow and Conference Event Planner
Join Capital Group as a Roadshow and Conference Event Planner and help us bring investment research trips, conferences, and industry events to life.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute a range of investment research trips, hosted conferences, industry expert events, and broker conferences.
Collaborate with the Corporate Access team to design and deliver company meetings between investment groups and external leaders or industry experts.
Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and provide backup plans for unforeseen circumstances.
Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, review invoices, verify services, and process reconciliations and reimbursements.
Coordinate all event production elements: venue/platform selection, audio/visual technology, live experiential events, food and beverage, room configurations, transportation, accommodations, honorariums and amenities.
Operate in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment requiring critical thinking, problem‑solving, and intellectual curiosity.
Qualifications
3+ years of corporate access or investor relation event execution experience, preferably in financial services or healthcare.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to tailor content to diverse stakeholders.
Deep understanding of capital markets and sector drivers and the ability to use that knowledge to prioritize client needs.
Progressive thinker who streamlines processes and executes project plans individually and collaboratively.
Proficiency with event technology platforms such as CVENT, Teams, Zoom, CorpAxe, and Capital Connect.
Experience managing end‑to‑end event programs, from concept through execution.
Budget management skills, including contracting, invoice review, and reimbursement processing.
Travel Requirement: Up to 30%.
Compensation
New York Base Salary Range: $95,871 – $153,394.
Includes an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a 15% matching retirement contribution.
