Senior Recruitment Consultant - Legal BD, Marketing & Communications - NYC / US
My client is an AmLaw Top 50 and globally renowned firm, who are searching for a talented and experienced PR Manager to join their growing team.
In this role, you will work closely with the firm’s Senior Manager of PR to develop and execute the firm’s external communications strategy, for the Americas M&A, Antitrust, and Capital Markets practices specifically. You will have the opportunity to work with the firm’s Sr. leadership to enhance media relations and external messaging. This offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their PR career, to work more strategically overall, but with Sr. Leadership as well.
I’d love to speak with candidates who have 6+ years of experience and presently operate within a PR function at a Law Firm or someone who works on the agency side and covers the legal space. It’s a must that this person has previous experience working with media contacts in the legal world.
Core Responsibilities:
Implementing the firm's U.S. PR strategy, while providing support to the team in building the firm’s external profile
Work closely with the firm’s Sr. Leadership to advise on all matters relating to communication strategy, messaging and external stakeholder messaging
Work with the wider communications team to identify industry trends, case information and newsworthy client news to enhance firm visibility in key areas
Establish and maintain key relationships with Legal news and other media outlets to assist with media placements, partner/attorney profiling and speaking or interview opportunities
Raise the firm’s overall visibility, but specifically within Key Industry or Practice Group focuses the firm may have
I feel the salary banding for this position is quite competitive within the wider market, but I’m more than happy to discuss salary requirements you may have, if they are outside the banding as well.
