Role
Join our creative, collaborative Book Publicity Team as a Publicity Assistant, training directly with experienced pros, including the department Manager. You’ll learn every step of the book publicity process, from initial strategy to media outreach and campaign execution. This is a crucial support role within a fast-paced, high-impact department.
What You'll Do
Use HubSpot to process book projects from one step to the next
Create promotional materials using Canva, Google Drive, and HubSpot, including graphics and marketing emails
Submit books to various literary awards
Submit books to various literary reviewers
Manage Amazon advertising campaigns
Proofreading authors' non-book materials for submission to external outlets
Pitching books to individual outlets
Doing phone calls with authors about publicity efforts
What We're Looking For
Experience in book publicity and project management
Expert-level experience with HubSpot or another comparable CRM
Exceptional writing skills and a literary sensibility
An accountable, friendly, patient, good-natured, and hard-working demeanor
