Job Description Location and Scope:
Based in Las Vegas, this role manages distributors across the State, working with Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits (Las Vegas & Sparks branches) and Breakthru Beverage in Southern NV.

About the role Role Responsibilities
Deliver agreed‑upon Annual Operating Plan (AOP) depletion targets.
Meet quarterly and half‑year Internal Business Objectives (IBOs).
Ensure alignment on all programs and goals.
Build strong relationships with distributor owners/senior management through to sales reps.
Manage trade and price spends within agreed budgets.
Develop sales forecasts/budgets using market insights and trend analysis.
Deliver shipments according to contractual DSI obligations.
Wholesaler Engagement
Conduct planning meetings and business reviews with distributor leadership regularly to ensure alignment.
Spend time in trade working directly with wholesalers both in‑person and virtually to track performance/programming/issues, leading course corrections as needed.
Inform wholesalers about DBC chain programs and local initiatives.
Event Planning
Manage local event planning/sampling execution with distributors and third‑party agencies like MKTG.
Local Engagement
Engage with third‑party agencies and coordinate with a dedicated local Inspira representative in Las Vegas on priorities/target account lists.
Handle T&E, wholesaler invoices, budget reconciliation, performance reviews.
Manage customer dynamics across various channels including C‑store, grocery, club store, independents, on‑premise; understand the three‑tier structure of supplier‑wholesaler‑retailer; direct store delivery.
Deliver against AOP & IBOs for the DBC portfolio.
Analyze wholesaler business monthly, quarterly, annually; develop goals for visibility/distribution/display execution/promotions/pricing/shelf management/quality measures.
Create incentives to motivate wholesalers towards key sales drivers by brand; plan/manage investment (Beer & PABs).
Execute kick‑off meetings for innovation/programming initiatives throughout the year; negotiate price structures with wholesalers ensuring pricing strategies are met.
Analyze segment retail accounts in on/off premise channels effectively; coordinate key account planning at wholesalers with National Account/Retail Chain teams.
Experience / Skills Required
Extensive experience in beer/wine/spirits commercial roles or similar CPG selling experience.
Proven supervisory skills in wholesaler management; retail sales expertise in chain grocery/independent liquor/on‑premise settings; thorough understanding of wholesaler operations/chains/customers/competitive activity/market information/quality standards.
Well‑developed financial acumen with previous ownership of pricing/budgets.
Strong knowledge of Distributor Operations and insight into On/Off Trade dynamics.
Experience managing across multiple functions; strong influencing/negotiation skills; proven track record for collaboration/accountability across departments.
Persuasive selling, problem solving; planning/organizing; proficiency in MS Office; financial acumen; excellent written/verbal communication; extremely positive; excellent negotiator; exhibits independence, resiliency and tenacity; process oriented; understands and applies interdependencies across functions; understands & uses data in critical decision making; ability to engage, influence and coordinate stakeholders who have different strategic initiatives.
