Join the GP:50 Team Inside Technical Sales Job Position: Inside Technical Sales Position Summary Under general supervision, Inside Technical Sales is responsible for customer and field rep support. Providing technical assistance, sales quotes, and answering customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluates customer needs and assists with product selection utilizing knowledge of engineering specifications and catalog resources.

Develops, solicits, and closes new accounts; generates sales quotations; and handles customer inquiries.

Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients and contacts.

Resolves customer issues and problems.

Needed Skills

Technical aptitude, basic understanding of electro-mechanical devices.

Must be able to perform equations.

Must be able to understand basic electrical or process schematics.

Must be able to understand basic mechanical drawings.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Customer service oriented with friendly demeanor.

CRM and MRP software experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or minimum Associate Technical degree and 3-5 years sales experience in a technical or engineering environment.
