The Manager on the Membership Development team plays a critical role in enabling World 50’s growth by building a highly capable, well‑trained, and operationally excellent Membership Development Coordinator (MDC) function. This role is responsible for ensuring new and existing MDCs are onboarded, trained, and supported with the right tools, processes, and workflows to perform at a high level.

This is a highly hands‑on role, focused on training, onboarding, and operational execution, with emphasis on setting MDCs up for success from day one. The MDC Manager is expected to roll up their sleeves, adapt quickly, and lead through change as new systems, processes, and tools are introduced. The success of this role is measured by the readiness, confidence, and operational effectiveness of the MDCs they support.

Play a critical role in the hiring, onboarding, and early‑stage development of Membership Development Coordinators

Deliver hands‑on training through live sessions, coaching, shadowing, and real‑time feedback

Build, maintain, and continuously improve training materials, playbooks, and documentation

Create a high‑trust, approachable environment where MDCs feel supported and comfortable asking questions

Provide ongoing coaching and performance support with a strong focus on readiness and execution

Operational & Technology Excellence

Serve as a power user and subject matter expert in Salesforce and related sales tools to support data entry and hygiene workflows

Own MDC workflows, processes, and system usage, ensuring consistency and efficiency

Lead adoption of new software and tools (including Prospector), translating functionality into clear, usable processes

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce friction

Support the team through change, ensuring new processes and systems are understood and adopted

Skills & Capabilities

Highly skilled trainer, mentor or coach

Strong technical aptitude, with advanced Salesforce experience (power user level)

Highly process‑oriented, with the ability to design and improve workflows

Approachable leadership style that builds trust and psychological safety

Strong connector who builds effective relationships across teams

Comfortable balancing coaching, training delivery, and operational execution

Able to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
