Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Waitrons at its Site at Mahlasela Pass.
The candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality visual content that highlights the unique offerings of our resort. From action-packed snowboarding footage to breathtaking mountain vistas, the Graphics/Videographer will play a key role in showcasing Afriski’s charm and adventure to our target audience.
Job Responsibilities
You will provide:
Customer Service:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant.
Provide menu recommendations, take orders, and answer inquiries regarding food and beverages.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to tables.
Food and Beverage Service:
Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.
Ensure proper presentation of dishes and beverages before serving.
Assist with food preparation and garnishing when necessary.
Table Maintenance:
Set up and arrange tables in accordance with seating arrangements and cleanliness standards.
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required during peak season.
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
