Position:
Account Manager
Location:
Roanoke, VA
Pay:
$75,000/year
Experience:
At least 3 years in account management or consultative role; prior experience in broker agency or benefits administration; Life & Health license; strong knowledge of health/ancillary products; Microsoft Office proficiency.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
Type:
Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Description
Manage and maintain an assigned book of business.
Serve as the primary advisory contact for clients on benefit-related service needs.
Collaborate with Benefits Consultants/Client Executives throughout the renewal process.
Conduct needs analyses, strategy calls, and enrollment meetings.
Address daily client issues and provide proactive communication.
Advise clients on cost-effective benefit options and industry trends.
Support form 5500 filings as applicable.
Lead and coordinate work with the extended internal service team.
Position Requirements
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work with clients at a strategic level.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
