What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist with planning and implementation of event logistics for Outbound Exchange Division events
Maintain master files for all CIEE events and manage event registration systems
Handle travel logistics for speakers and VIP guests, and assist with preparing event materials
Manage vendor communication and scheduling as directed by the Event Manager
Support all aspects of the event on-site, including check-in and operational areas
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience; event planning experience is a plus
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, with strong communication skills
Experience abroad—personal study or living experience abroad is strongly preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in event planning or coordination roles
Familiarity with online registration systems and event management software
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation
Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively on projects
