Toyota of Hampton Parts Advisor
Location: Hampton, VA
Base pay range: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Overview Toyota of Hampton is in need of a professional parts advisor to help with our growing business. Our new team members will utilize their vast automotive parts experience to assist our service, wholesale, and retail customer needs.
Responsibilities
Assist technicians, service advisors, and walk‑in customers by providing pricing and availability as needed.
Accurately order and track needed parts.
Answer phone calls, providing assistance and prices as needed.
Process and organize orders for delivery or pick‑up.
Ensure all cash, credit, charge, and tax‑exempt sales are processed as required.
Receive and ship parts in accordance with company policies.
Restock inventory daily.
Ensure all returned parts are properly tracked and identified.
Conduct assigned daily perpetual inventory audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Supporting Departmental Goals
Maintain necessary product knowledge to improve sales of associated/companion parts.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers.
Improve sales of parts and accessories.
Build upon existing knowledge of products and skills using available manufacturer training.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player.
Ability to minimize and redirect customers’ frustrations.
Trainable.
Outgoing and friendly personality with great customer handling skills.
Professional appearance.
CDK experience a plus.
Strong organizational skills.
Manufacturer training certifications a plus.
