About the Company
Western Industries Corporation is seeking a results‑driven, hunter‑minded Sales Representative to pursue and develop new business opportunities within the packaging industry. This position plays a key role in expanding our footprint across wood, corrugated, and foam packaging solutions by identifying new prospects, building strong relationships, and driving profitable growth.
About the Role
The Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding our market presence and driving sales through proactive engagement with potential clients.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries and territories.
Present, promote, and sell packaging solutions using a consultative approach to address customer needs.
Conduct cost‑benefit and needs analyses to provide value‑driven solutions.
Establish and maintain strong business relationships built on trust and responsiveness.
Engage in consistent cold calling and prospecting to drive sales pipeline activity.
Collaborate with internal teams in engineering, operations, and customer service.
Track market intelligence, competitive trends, and new product opportunities.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and activity metrics.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and progress using CRM tools.
Qualifications
Proven success as a sales representative, ideally in industrial packaging or manufacturing.
Hunter mentality with strong initiative and drive to win new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Zoho CRM experience a plus).
Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Preferred Skills
Experience in industrial packaging or manufacturing.
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation is base salary plus commission, based on experience and performance.
