Job Description Great Opportunity for Outdoor Work and Freedom! We are recruiting Underground Utility Locators in Arvada for a rewarding career in a drug‑free, expanding environment. The role requires self‑motivation, safety commitment, attention to detail, and pride in completion of tasks.
Salary: $21.00 per hour. Work Location: Multiple locations across the I‑70 corridor area. Schedule: 10‑hour shift, Monday to Friday, on call, overtime possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle to job sites in response to routine tickets, emergencies, and relocations.
Utilize mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities (electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines).
Mark utility locations using paint and flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities.
Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs per the rotation schedule.

Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
Ability to work overtime when required

Self‑management and timely communication with supervisors and clients
Physical Demands
Drive 50–300+ miles daily as required
Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times a day
Stand and walk over 1 mile in uneven terrain, all weather conditions
Sit for long periods while driving
Lift or move 50–150 pounds
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Education High school or equivalent (Required)
License Driver’s license (Required)
