Great Opportunity for Outdoor Work and Freedom! Salary: $21.00 per hour. Our Arvada team is recruiting Underground Utility Locators in your area for a rewarding career!
Vannguard is currently seeking new team members with the right attitude in a drug‑free environment as we expand into the I‑70 corridor area. The Underground Utility Locator is a self‑motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors. The right candidate will be trained, committed to safety, comfortable working independently, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in completing a job well done.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations.
Utilize provided mapping tools and location information, along with locating equipment, to find underground utilities including electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines.
Indicate utility locations through paint, flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or other authorities.
Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs according to the established rotation schedule.

Valid driver’s license in applicable state
Ability to work overtime when needed

Self‑management and timely communication with supervisors and clients
Physical Demands
Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as required by the geographic area.
Get in and out of vehicle 50+ times a day.
Stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather conditions.
Sit for long periods while driving.
Lift or move 50 to 150 pounds.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Education High school or equivalent (required).
License Driver’s license (required).
Work Location Multiple locations.
