Account Manager – The Macomb Group (Indianapolis, Indiana)
The Macomb Group, a leading distributor in the Midwest for pipe, valve, and fittings, seeks a full‑time Outside Sales Account Manager with mechanical and industrial piping experience.
Responsibilities
Visiting customer offices and job sites
Prospecting new customers
Developing and maintaining strong relationships to generate and close sales opportunities
Meeting or exceeding monthly required gross profit dollar targets
Working with key vendors to promote products and increase sales through joint calls
Selling all products within our offering
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
Ability to work independently and be proactive
Possess polished sales skills, communication and organizational skills
Motivated team player who takes initiative
Work Setting Indianapolis, Indiana – Monday to Friday, day shift.
