The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full-time Account Manager for our Sales division with mechanical piping and industrial piping experience at our Marcus Hook, PA location. Title
Outside Sales Account Manager Responsibilities
Continue developing and servicing a targeted customer base. Contact assigned accounts daily via phone, e-mail or in person to increase sales through exceptional account servicing. Proactively identify customer needs and requirements. Act as a liaison between customers and the company, representing the company positively and professionally while aiming to exceed sales goals. Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required. Participate in the emergency service schedule as directed by Sales Management. Participate in further education and training on new products and technology as directed by Sales Management. Maintain customer relationships by providing prompt service for all orders, inquiries, complaints, returns, and coordinating relevant matters with other associates. Report to management any activities that could hinder sales objectives or forecasts. Review inquiries of a competitive or product-sensitive nature with Sales Management. Monitor daily quotations and follow up expediently to gain increased sales or competitive information. Attend vendor in‑house seminars covering new products to increase overall product knowledge. Maintain open order reports weekly. Communicate with customers and employees using an "above and beyond" attitude. Utilize computer systems to interpret purchase orders, invoices, work instructions, and procedure manuals. Qualifications

Minimum five years of inside/outside sales experience. A mechanical trade‑oriented background is a plus. Knowledge of Industrial Supply, pipe, valve, and fittings is essential. This role requires knowledge of sales theory and skills. Work Setting
