Summary
The Senior Analyst – Customer Interface (Strategic Projects) will ensure effective project execution by maintaining timelines, updating overviews, and producing regular status reports. This role includes coordinating meetings, managing documentation, and overseeing back‑office logistics, allowing leadership to concentrate on strategic priorities. Additionally, the Analyst will perform targeted market and tools research to support process improvements and enable data‑informed decision‑making across new business ventures and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Administration
Assist in the maintenance and the update of project trackers and Gantt charts, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are current.
Monitor task completion across cross‑functional teams; flag delays and coordinate follow‑up actions.
Schedule and organize project status meetings: prepare agendas, distribute invitations, and circulate concise meeting minutes.
Manage back‑office logistics—file/document filing, version control, and central archive upkeep for project history.
Team & Tools Research
Investigate and evaluate project‑management platforms, collaboration tools, and productivity apps; prepare feature‑comparison matrices.
Research best practices and emerging methodologies in PMO and project operations; summarize recommendations for process improvements.
Maintain an archive of templates, guidelines, and “how‑to” reference materials for the strategic projects team.
Management Reporting
Assist and support in the creation and distribution of routine project update reports (weekly/monthly), summarizing progress, risks, and next steps.
Create and refresh executive/management reports with new information, key performance indicators and status updates/risks.
Assist in building standardized slide decks and one‑pagers that communicate project health to senior leadership.
Operational Support & Coordination
Serve as a point of contact for routine information requests from internal stakeholders to distribute to management.
Collect and consolidate data inputs (from various project sources, when required) into standardized templates.
Track action items and decisions from steering‑committee meetings; ensure timely completion and follow‑through.
Cross‑Functional Liaison
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, IT, Legal, and other teams to collect required documentation and clarify project requirements.
Facilitate meeting and discussion logistics: room bookings, video‑conference setup, materials distribution and post‑session notes.
Assist in the update and progression of the centralized issues log; elevate critical blockers to project leads and track resolution.
Market & Competitor Research
Conduct market research reviews and gather publicly available information on industry trends, potential partners, and competitive offerings, when required.
Organize research findings into summary tables and simple slide summaries for strategic discussions.
Update vendor and partnership tracking spreadsheets with key data points, when required for basis of various projects.
Ad‑Hoc Support & Continuous Improvement
Respond to urgent ad‑hoc data or document requests, delivering clear, timely outputs.
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and propose simple template or workflow enhancements.
Assist in periodic process reviews, gathering feedback and updating standard operating procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Compensation Range
$58,000 – $63,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
