Trades Manager
to oversee and elevate our service operations. We’re looking for a strong leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can coordinate teams across multiple trades, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role The
Trades Manager
is responsible for leading and supporting the service teams. This role ensures efficient scheduling, strong team performance, consistent communication, and high‑quality workmanship across all departments.
This position is ideal for someone who:
Enjoys developing and motivating technicians
Has strong operational and organizational skills
Excels at communication and accountability
Can maintain smooth, efficient service operations
Field experience is a
plus , but leadership and operational strength are the key requirements.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and mentor HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical service technicians
Conduct ongoing training, ride‑alongs, and performance reviews
Build a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture
Operations & Scheduling
Coordinate and optimize schedules across all service departments
Work with dispatch to ensure efficient routing and workload balance
Monitor technician productivity and workflow efficiency>
Customer Experience
Support resolution of escalated service issues
Ensure clear communication and high-quality service delivery
Maintain consistent workmanship standards across all trades
Process & Performance Management
Track KPIs such as productivity, revenue, customer satisfaction, and callback rates
Identify opportunities to improve department processes and performance
Collaborate with leadership, dispatch, sales, and warehouse teams
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership or management experience in home services (multi‑trade experience is a plus)
Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Excellent communication and team‑building abilities
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on process improvement
Understanding of residential HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical systems (preferred, not required)
