Job Description This Director of Strategic Account Management will be regionally aligned to the Midwest Region (Dakota's, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin) major oncology accounts, while also fulfilling national responsibilities due to the reach of these accounts.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts based on Takeda’s commercial goals.

Identify key contacts and understand GPO stakeholders across functions and management levels, both internal and external.

Lead cross-functional partner activities within targeted accounts as approved, providing guidance and assistance on company-wide and franchise-specific opportunities.

Leverage proactive methods to gather and demonstrate a thorough understanding of integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, marketplace developments, competitive strategies, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies and processes.

Assess assigned regional and national oncology GPO clients, identifying new customers or organizations that could impact Takeda business, and build positive relationships with leadership.

Through strategic engagement, position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current and future portfolio initiatives.

Accountabilities

Work with internal matrix partners to deliver on company initiatives and priorities.

Identify key business leaders and build long-term relationships with healthcare population-based decision makers.

Develop strategy and plan for product/portfolio growth of key strategic accounts.

Streamline engagements, identify opportunities, and maximize resources with strategic accounts.

Build credibility through an in-depth understanding of account business, organization, external environment, and industry.

Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and drive collaboration with matrix partners throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Maintain full fluency of Takeda Oncology portfolio.

Mentor individuals seeking to develop into Access Account Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field with 10+ years industry experience.

2+ years of experience managing Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts with in-office and medically integrated dispensing.

2+ years prior experience as an Oncology Field Sales leader with proven ability to work within a matrix team environment to achieve business results.

3+ years of focused account management knowledge of oncology marketplace, access influencers, and community oncology driving value, access, and profitability.

Strong customer orientation and account management expertise, resourceful with strong networking skills. Value and access B2B experience desired.

Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams while proactively identifying leading trends and channel dynamics to translate to impactful access programs for our brands.

Travel Expectations 70% travel.

Job Location Remote (Virtual) – Minnesota

Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $195,800 – $269,170 annually. Eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, wellness benefits, 80 hours of sick time, and 120 hours of paid vacation for new hires.
