Description Come work for America's Master Craftsmen in Restoration and Preservation! Western Specialty Contractors is currently looking for self- motivated, top-notch individuals to help serve our customers as a Sheet Metal Roofing Lead at our Peoria, IL branch. If you are a self- motivated individual with a great work ethic and the personality to help with customer satisfaction, then we would love to meet you!
Requirements Installing, fabricating, and repairing architectural sheet metal roofing, wall panels, gutters and flashing using tools to cut, bend, and fasten materials like steel and aluminum, requiring physical fitness, safety adherence, teamwork, and often working at heights on commercial buildings. Key duties include reporting to the job site, following a foreman's directions, operating equipment, ensuring quality work, and maintaining strict safety protocols.
Installation & Fabrication: Install metal roofing systems, wall cladding, flashing, and gutters, fabricating pieces as needed.
Tool Operation: Use hand and power tools, shears, brakes, and other equipment to cut, bend, and shape metal.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and OSHA safety policies, especially working at heights.
Teamwork: Work as part of a crew, reporting to a foreman and assisting with all aspects of the job.
Site Management: Arrive on time, perform tasks efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Sheet Metal Experience: Must have experience working with Sheet Metal.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this role is determined using a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the cost of labor in the different geographic locations where we operate. In addition to base pay, this position may also be eligible for:

US Pay Range $30—$35 USD
