Commercial Property Manager Job Summary Dorman Commercial Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction in accordance with management agreements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Administer leases and ensure accurate documentation.
Monitor rent collections and manage default proceedings.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local codes, and regulatory directives.
Conduct regular property inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and maintain inspection records.
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; oversee CAM reconciliations and recovery processes.
Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts in alignment with company and client requirements.
Maintain accurate lease abstracts using property management software.
Collaborate with accounting and ownership teams to ensure contract compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting.
Coordinate tenant and building construction projects to ensure timely and quality completion.
Handle leasing and lease renewals as needed.
Foster strong relationships with tenants and clients.
Address emergent situations swiftly (sometimes even outside of business hours).

Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Experience:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with lease and contract negotiation.
Ability to manage vendor relationships.
Work Environment & Physical Demands This role operates in a professional office setting and requires regular travel between properties. Beyond the travel to and from properties, this is an in‑office position.
Candidates must be able to:
Walk and stand for extended periods.
Navigate staircases and ladders.
Work in varying weather conditions.
Operate standard office equipment.
Salary Range (exempt):
$65,000 – $80,000/year
