Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
The Purchasing Specialist utilizes blanket purchase agreements, standing orders, corporate credit card and purchase orders to acquire services, material, equipment, and construction in support of health care operations for the Hospital.
Required Skills:
Proficient with computerized purchasing/inventory systems. Effective oral and written communication skills in English. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software application to include Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Required Experience:
A. Work Experience Three years of experience as a purchasing clerk or commodity buyer required, preferably in a healthcare setting. B. License/Registration/Certification Certification in Purchasing, Contacting, or Logistics preferred. C. Education and Training High School Diploma or equivalent required.
