Rare Disease Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

We seek performance-driven candidates with documented sales success to quickly impact your assigned territory. The Rare Disease Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will achieve activity metrics, drive sales for a rare disease product, and meet all standards set by Inizio and the client.

What will you be doing?
Demonstrate deep knowledge of the rare disease marketplace, therapeutic landscape, and product (mechanism, indication, efficacy, safety) to deliver clear, concise and accurate communication of PRC‑approved content.
Apply knowledge of healthcare industry trends, laws, regulations, and market conditions to develop business plans and execute interactions within compliance guidelines.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs, office staff, and others in the patient care continuum.
Ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders and use insights to help offices identify appropriate patients.
Demonstrate strong account management skills (account planning, field resource coordination, customer education, promotion, reporting).
Work independently and in team environments, fostering collaboration toward shared goals and communicating with cross‑functional teams.
Verify and complete required CRM data entry according to client policies and procedures.
Conduct in‑service meetings with HCPs to educate on the company’s product and disease state, including providing meals to HCPs and accurately capturing all meal information per company policies.
Organize, facilitate, and manage speaker programs, obtain required approvals for sponsorships and exhibit booths, and attend conferences as per company policies.
Manage daily sales call activities to optimize time and maximize sales objectives.
Comply with all pertinent company policies and training.
What do you need for this position?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of pharma sales experience required
Documented history of success
Specialty sales experience highly preferred
Rare disease experience preferred
Team-based or collaborative selling experience
Ability to travel overnight if required
