– Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM & Saturday: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Job Description In a phlebotomy float role you will be given a variety of duties across multiple patient centers, ensuring that no two days are the same. You will shift frequently to new sites, meet new people, and contribute to a diverse and dynamic work environment. Pay range:

$21.26+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education and certifications, and may include an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor's office, or as business needs dictate.

Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.).

Enter billing information and collect payment when required.

Coach, mentor, instruct, and act as a resource advisor for new employees; serve as the point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.

Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Five years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Minimum three years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.
