Reporting to senior sales leadership, you will serve as the primary champion of production, dealer success, and team development in one of our most strategically important territories.
Residence within or near the assigned geographic territory is required.
Key Responsibilities
Own overall state performance, ensuring execution against volume, growth, penetration, and retention targets
Set clear expectations, rhythms, and sales processes that drive accountability and consistent success across the field
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor field sales team
Conduct regular field rides, performance reviews, and skill development sessions to elevate team capability
Analyze state-level trends, competitor activity, and dealer dynamics to identify opportunities
Develop and execute localized strategies that maximize production across metro, suburban, and rural areas
Guide your team in signing high-value dealerships, strengthening existing partnerships, and promoting Lendbuzz programs

Partner closely with underwriting, credit, inside sales, operations, and marketing to ensure a seamless dealer experience
Help remove obstacles, streamline processes, and ensure clarity between the field and internal teams
Use data-driven reporting and KPIs to assess team performance, identify gaps, and implement improvement plans
Regularly review territory health, dealer performance, and pipeline opportunities with the field team
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Automotive Lending, F&I, Dealer Sales, or related fields—preferably with multi-territory or statewide oversight
5+ years proven success leading and developing a sales team, ideally in high-volume or high-growth environments
Strong dealer network throughout the area, with a demonstrated ability to open doors and accelerate growth
Hands‑on leadership style – you coach in the field, not from behind a desk
Highly strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable plans
Data‑driven mindset, comfortable reviewing KPIs and coaching the team through performance metrics with the ability to analyze trends and identify opportunities
Willingness to travel extensively within the state (up to 70–80%); must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving history
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
What Success Looks Like
A high‑performing, engaged statewide field team with strong retention, clear accountability, and consistent execution across all territories
Scalable dealer growth driven through strategic market coverage, deeper penetration, and high‑value partnerships across metro, suburban, and rural regions
Sustained increases in state‑level contract volume and market share, supported by strong team coaching, disciplined pipeline management, and effective territory plans
A coaching‑centered leadership culture rooted in field visibility, hands‑on development, and continuous improvement
Seamless alignment and communication between the field and senior leadership, ensuring statewide execution matches organizational strategy
