Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front‑office personnel.
Perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills, including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying and broiling.
Prepare sushi dishes using proper techniques and recipe knowledge.
Operate multiple stations in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
Stand for long periods of time, work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Good communication skills.
Basic sushi preparation and recipe knowledge.
Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
California Food Handlers certification required.
Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
