Role Overview
The Country Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, setting sales targets, and analyzing market trends to drive revenue growth within a specific country or region. Key responsibilities also involve leading and managing a local sales team, building relationships with key clients, and overseeing sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills to achieve company objectives within the national market. Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets and market growth goals for the specific country.
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and create reports to present to senior management.
Work closely with marketing, technical, logistics, and product teams to align strategies and ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Interfaces with and account-manages strategic clients to develop long-term win-win relationships and generate a recurring pipeline of sales leads for the company.
Assesses, prioritizes, and qualifies sales leads before advising management on which deals to pursue.
Interface between potential customers and the engineering team to develop solutions for the customer.
Collect, analyze, and present accurate sales and market intelligence to forecast and formulate sales strategies for the USA market.
Provide regular feedback from the market to senior management Skills and Qualifications Requirements
At least 5 to 10 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 2 to 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
Ability to develop strategic plans based on data and market analysis.
Must be adept at forecasting, budgeting, and problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ability to negotiate effectively is critical.
A solid understanding of business operations, financial planning, and market dynamics.
Expertise in the company's product lines, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
Willingness to travel frequently within the country or region to visit partners, clients, and team members
