Account Executive
Our client, a GovTech and infrastructure technology company, is seeking a driven Account Executive to join their growing sales team. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales and is designed for someone with 1-3 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience who wants to sharpen their skills and grow into a Senior AE or sales leadership role within 18-24 months. This role is fully remote, but requires someone who is based in Texas. The Account Executive will be responsible for building their own pipeline, managing disciplined sales cycles, and closing mid-market deals ranging from $30K-$150K.
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Source and close mid-market deals with local government and municipal clients
Prospect consistently through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn
Build and manage a self-sourced, qualified sales pipeline
Run tight, detail-oriented sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close
Deliver compelling demos and ROI-focused proposals that translate technical value into business outcomes
Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and next-step documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and strong customer experiences
Operate with a high level of ownership, urgency, and accountability
Qualifications
1-3 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience (SaaS or technology sales preferred)
Government or municipal sales experience preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota with $30K-$150K average deal sizes
Comfortable prospecting and closing independently; does not rely on inbound leads
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders
Experience using HubSpot or Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
