Outside Sales Representative (Open)
Location:
Oregon City, OR & Portland, OR (Retail shop at 82 Av).
Compensation:
$75,000 – $85,000 base salary + 30% uncapped commission + $550 monthly car allowance.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales of compressed gases and welding products.
Consult with customers on needs for tools, hardware, abrasive products, safety apparel/equipment, ensuring product suitability and collaborating with Airgas product specialists and manufacturer representatives.
Actively pursue and acquire, on an ongoing basis, new and competitive accounts with an emphasis on gases, business, and product supply agreements.
Schedule joint sales calls with vendors and Airgas Product Specialists.
Build strong relationships with all branch personnel and create open communication with branch managers to grow and support business.
Ensure customer inquiries related to billing, cylinder balances, order status, delivery times, etc. are promptly and courteously handled, providing follow‑up as necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
Proficiency working with computer applications including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Preferred:
3+ years experience in industrial sales.
Preferred:
5+ years experience in outside sales.
Preferred:
Knowledge of welding and compressed gases products.
