Job Summary Responsible for prospecting and running Auris Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid‑size merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Field Sales Representative you will report to a Payroll Division Manager and receive coaching from a Territory Manager. Activities include explaining our value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Payroll Territory (PTM) and/or Payroll Division Manager (PDM). Your role is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area, set appointments via network and referral partnerships, run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Auris solutions to close sales. After training you will set your own work schedule to maximize the upside of 100% commission and residuals on the business you bring in.
Responsibilities
Prospect new clients
Maintain client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact information, and other relevant details
Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure a WIN
Build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry changes to stay up‑to‑date
Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one‑on‑one sessions with leader
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license and valid automobile insurance
Successful completion of pre‑employment background check
Must live in area relative to job posting location
At least two years of relevant experience
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
Works well independently and as part of a team
Incentive‑driven sales “hunter”
Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face interaction
Accountable for measurable, high‑quality, timely results
Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Prior experience in a B2B Sales role
Prior experience with a CRM tool, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
