Overview As part of the Orkin Commercial sales team, you’ll sell industry-leading pest protection solutions backed by 125 years of experience and award‑winning training. We provide a persuasive pitch, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to quality through the Orkin Guarantee.

As a Commercial Sales Representative you’ll use your competitive drive and teamwork skills to maximize income, earn rewards trips, and pursue leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities As an Outside Sales Rep, you’ll understand Orkin’s products and services and sell them to diverse commercial customers. You’ll build trusted relationships, recommend solutions, and maintain safety and regulatory standards.

Prioritize safety in all tasks

Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers

Use in‑depth training to recommend innovative solutions for each customer’s needs

Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and cultivating assigned leads

Use marketing tools to drive new business development

Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of customer properties

Recommend solutions based on inspections, address questions, and set expectations for peace of mind

Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized

Estimated compensation: $70,000–$120,000 USD (base + uncapped commission)

Qualifications

No experience required; sales experience preferred

Cold‑calling and territory management experience is an asset

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)

Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers in their businesses or homes

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Wear personal protective equipment, often an OSHA‑compliant respirator

Work in various weather conditions
